Machine polishing that removes the swirl marks, scratches, buffer trails and water-spot etching that dull your paint. Not a filler glaze that washes off in a month: the defects are gone. Two levels, published prices, and the foundation under every coating and film we install.
Your clear coat is about as thick as a sheet of printer paper. Automatic brush washes, dirty wash mitts, dealer prep and years of salt and bird droppings leave millions of fine scratches in it. In sunlight they show up as the spider-web haze that makes black cars look gray. Paint correction uses microabrasive compounds and machine polishers to level the clear coat just past the depth of those defects, leaving a flat, mirror-clear surface. Anything deeper than the clear coat, like a scratch you can catch a fingernail in, is a body-shop repair and we will tell you so before you spend a dollar.
← Level 1← Level 2Single-stage machine polish that removes the everyday defects dulling your finish. Typically removes 60 to 80% of visible defects.
Multi-stage compound and polish for the deeper damage Level 1 leaves behind. Typically 85 to 95% defect removal.

Corrected paint should be protected. Without a coating or film the same swirls come back with the next bad wash. See ceramic coating and PPF.
Paint-depth readings and inspection lighting tell us how much clear coat there is to work with and which level the paint needs. Repainted or thin panels are flagged.
Foam, hand wash, iron remover and clay. Polishing over bonded contamination grinds it into the paint.
Trim, badges, edges and rubber are taped so the polisher never touches them.
A cutting compound and pad level the deeper scratches and etching. Test spots first, then the car.
A finishing polish refines the surface to full clarity. On Level 1 this is the single stage.
Polishing oils are stripped so you see the true result, then the paint is sealed or coated so it stays that way.
All work is done in our studio at 503 Erie St in Lancaster, NY, about 15 minutes east of downtown Buffalo off the 33 and the 90. Controlled lighting and a clean, climate-stable bay are what make paint correction come out right, so we do not do this work in driveways.
